Thermal Efficiency & Insulation

Wayne Dalton Model 9100 and Model 9605 garage doors are designed with polyurethane foamed-in-place insulation, improving both energy efficiency and noise reduction. These doors offer a U-factor of .26, helping regulate indoor temperatures and minimize heat loss.

• Model 9100: R-value of 9 for 7' tall doors; R-value of 10 for 8' tall doors.
• Model 9605: R-value of 9 for 7' tall doors; R-value of 10 for 8' tall doors.
  

Additionally, a bottom weather seal helps block drafts, dust, and debris, keeping your garage space clean and well-insulated.

The TorqueMaster? Plus

The TorqueMaster? Plus is Wayne Dalton?s exclusive garage door counterbalance system, designed for enhanced safety, durability, and ease of use. Unlike exposed spring systems, TorqueMaster? Plus encloses the garage door springs inside a steel tube, preventing dirt buildup and reducing wear over time. This design also enhances safety by minimizing the risk of accidental tension release.

Additionally, the system features an anti-drop safety device, which prevents the door from free-falling if a spring breaks, ensuring reliable operation.

Custom Colour

Model 9605 is available with the TruChoice™ Colour System, Wayne Dalton's custom painting process that offers more than 6,000 colours. Please click here to find your colour perfect colour.

Choose a Window

Not all window options are available with every panel style. Optional insulated glass available for improved thermal performance. Check with Charles for details.

Optional Window Placement

Windows may be arranged vertically or horizontally on Colonial, Ranch and Contemporary designs. Up to 50% of the door can include windows. Windows placed in the bottom section of a door must use DSB1/8 , or tempered, or insulated glass. Vertical lite options will be placed as a special order.
